Renee Sprink, owner of Renee Sprink Photography, has built her career on connecting with people and helping them shine. Born and raised in Raleigh, Renee attended NC State University, where she majored in English with a concentration in secondary education and completed post baccalaureate studies in public relations. As a charter member of Zeta Tau Alpha at NC State, Renee served as philanthropic chair and developed lifelong friendships and networks.

Renee has held a variety of marketing and public relations roles, guiding people and companies to put their best foot forward. She has served as marketing associate at Pinehurst Resort, community/fundraising director at March of Dimes - Triangle Chapter and director of communications for the North Carolina Health Careers Access Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a sense of style, Renee opened The Winning Touch, a fashion boutique for women competing in Miss America and Miss USA pageants. Renee has also served as director of Miss America preparation for Miss North Carolina.

In 2009, Renee turned an all-consuming photography hobby into a career and opened Renee Sprink Photography. As a photographer and portrait artist, she captures images that families can treasure for generations to come. Renee’s style—clean and classic with a modern twist—is a blend of classic portraiture and photojournalism. She values the personal relationships she builds with her clients, which allow her to document raw emotions and relaxed, authentic images. Her work has been published in Southern Bride & Groom, Southern Weddings, Wake Living Magazine, Today’s Bride, Professional Photographers of America and The Chronicle of Higher Education. Renee was voted Best Photographer in the 2015 Wake Living Magazine Readers’ Choice Awards. She is a member of the Professional Photographers of America, Professional Photographers of North Carolina and the Wedding and Portrait Society.

Renee, a true Southern gal right down to her pearls, lives in Raleigh with her husband Jeff and their two rescue dogs, Tate and Tucker. When not behind a camera, Renee connects with the Raleigh community through her involvement in the Junior League of Raleigh, the Wolfpack Club, the NC State Alumni Association, the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce and Trinity Baptist Church. For therapy, she plays the piano.
