Renae Lockhart is a graduate of NC State University’s Department of Social Work, Bachelor of Social Work Program 2002 and Master of Social Work Program 2011.  While earning her BSW she was a track & field student-athlete.  She has been a police officer for a major metropolitan city in North Carolina for fourteen years.  She is a North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission certified law enforcement general instructor.  Renae’s teaching areas of expertise are in domestic violence response and responding to special populations.  She is an adjunct instructor for the Department of Social Work and also serves as a field supervisor for social work undergraduate and graduate students.
