Marie Holland earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences in 2004 and Master of Education with a Concentration in Counseling from the College of Education in 2008 from NC State University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist in the state of North Carolina. She is also a National Certified Counselor, a Distance Credentialed Counselor and a member of the American Counseling Association.
In 2011, Marie met state board requirements to open and maintain her private counseling practice in Nags Head, NC. Prior to her private practice she worked in the public schools as a school counselor and with multiple counseling agencies in Eastern North Carolina.
She currently resides in Dare County and is a lifetime member of NCSU Alumni Association where she serves as a co-leader for the county’s alumni network which was reintroduced to the area in 2010.
