1st Year Ambassador

Why did you decide to apply to be an Alumni Ambassador? I became an ambassador because I love NC State and I really wanted to be a part of the body that makes a large impact across campus, especially with planning Homecoming which will make memories for so many people.

What excites you the most about being an Alumni Ambassador? I would say that the planning part of being an Alumni Ambassador is the most exciting. You basically have a part in knowing what is coming up on campus, and you come into contact with a variety of people as well.

What event are you looking forward to most as an Ambassador? I'm really looking forward to the Red and White Week Kickoff this year. It'll be my first Homecoming as a part of AASAP and I am more than ready for it!

What is something you are involved in outside of the Alumni Ambassadors? I am also a part of the Black Males Initiative (BMI) which is now a learning village at Avent Ferry resident hall, I'm part of the Society of African American Culture (SAAC), and I also currently work for NC State's Benefits division of the Human Resources Department.
