Chasity Melvin

Chasity Melvin is a  WNBA All Star, NCSU and NC Sports Hall of Famer.  She graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Mass Communications. Upon graduation she was drafted by both professional women’s league the ABL and the WNBA. She went on to play for 12 seasons in the WNBA and also 14 years abroad in in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. She is a certified faith coach and is the self published author of her first book entitled At the End of the Day. She has coached high school basketball, and enjoys working with athletes of all ages and teaching them how to play the game on and off the court. She has traveled the world and worked with kids in different cultures and most recently visited Colombia as a sports ambassador. She currently lives in Raleigh, NC and works for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund as a coordinator of development. She is passionate about continuing her late mentor, friend and coach Kay Yow's legacy off the court in raising money for All women's cancer research and serving the underserved.
