3rd Year Ambassador

Why did you decide to apply to be an Alumni Ambassador? I always knew that whatever University I decided to attend, I didn't just want to get an education there, I wanted to be completely immersed in the culture and excitement of my school.  Fortunately, I was blessed to grow up an NC State fan and now have the privilege to experience it as a student so I wanted to take full advantage of my time here.  I knew that being an ambassador would let me give back to a place that has given me everything.  something where I could have a lasting impact on this incredible university.

What excites you most about being an Alumni Ambassador? As ambassadors, we consider ourselves the tradition keepers on campus, and I love that because I feel like we get to help other students love NC State as much as I do.

What is your favorite AASAP event? I think the lip sync battle during homecoming week is the best thing that ever happened to NC State.

What is your favorite AASAP memory? Michael Williams taking lots of rocks to the face as he gracefully fell down the mountain during our hike at Fall Retreat.

What is something you are involved in outside of the Alumni Ambassadors? I studied in Spain last Spring, and I've been really working on my Spanish.  I joined a Spanish speaking group in Raleigh that gets together to practice the language.  I'm also a senior so I'm extremely involved with becoming employed after graduation.
